Roasted Cornish Hen


Entertaining never looked easier with this herb roasted cornish hen!


Ingredients:

  • 4 Cornish hens (backbone and wing tips removed)

  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 tbsp fresh garlic, chopped

  • 4 tbsp canola oil

  • 2 tsp kosher salt

  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper

Directions:

  1. Prepare the Herb Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the chopped rosemary, parsley, garlic, canola oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to form a flavorful paste.

  2. Season the Hens: Rub the herb mixture evenly over the Cornish hens, making sure they are well-coated.

  3. Roast the Hens: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the hens on a roasting pan or baking sheet and roast for about 35 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

  4. Serve: Once the hens are cooked, remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
