Prosciutto Asparagus
Ingredients:
7 slices prosciutto
2 pounds asparagus
Parmesan cheese (sliced or shredded)
Olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
Prep the Asparagus:
Trim the woody ends off the asparagus spears.
Toss them with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Roast Asparagus:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Arrange the seasoned asparagus on a parchment-lined sheet pan and roast for 15 minutes, or until tender and slightly caramelized.
Crisp the Prosciutto:
Place the prosciutto slices on a separate parchment-lined sheet pan.
Bake in the same oven for about 10 minutes, or until crispy.
Remove, let cool, and crumble into small pieces.
Assemble the Dish:
Transfer the roasted asparagus to a serving dish.
Sprinkle with crumbled prosciutto and Parmesan cheese.
Drizzle with olive oil for added flavor.
