Hodge Podge
Ingredients:
½ lb green beans
1 lb baby potatoes, halved
¾ lb carrots
¾ lb turnip
½ lb parsnip
3 tbsp butter
2 cup cream
2 cup water
1 tbsp garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp parsley, chopped
1 tbsp chives, chopped
Directions:
In a large pot add butter and garlic, sauteing for a few minutes.
Add carrot, potato, turnip and parsnips, stir together then add in cream and water.
Cook until the veg is ¾ done and add beans.
Once the beans are tender, season with salt and pepper.
Add in parsley and chives and stir everything together.
