Chimichurri Sauce



Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh Italian parsley, roughly chopped

  • 75 ml olive oil

  • 45 ml lemon juice

  • 1 ½ tbsp garlic, chopped

  • 4 tbsp shallots, chopped

  • 30 ml red wine vinegar

  • ½ tsp chili flakes

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

Directions:

  1. Blend the Base: In a food processor, combine the parsley, shallots, and garlic. Pulse until well blended.

  2. Add Remaining Ingredients: Pour in the olive oil, lemon juice, red wine vinegar, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Blend again until smooth and fully combined.

  3. Taste & Adjust: Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning if needed—add more salt, pepper, or chili flakes for extra kick if desired.
