Fig & Pistachio Labneh Dip
Ingredients:
500g Labneh
45ml Honey (or more, depending on your preferred sweetness)
115g Dried Mission figs (stems removed)
250ml Red wine
50g Chopped pistachios
Mini naan (or your preferred bread)
Instructions:
Poach the figs: Quarter the dried figs and place them in a pot with the red wine. Simmer on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the figs soften and absorb the wine’s flavors. Once done, allow the figs to cool.
Prepare the plate: Spread the Labneh evenly on a serving plate, creating a smooth base for the figs.
Assemble the dish: Arrange the poached figs on top of the Labneh. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios for a nice crunch.
Finish with honey: Drizzle honey over the figs and Labneh mixture to add a touch of sweetness.
5. Serve: Accompany with warm mini naan or your bread of choice for dipping and savoring.
