Crab Dip
. This crab dip is creamy, cheesy, and full of savoury crab flavour and fresh herbs, a great addition to any gathering!
Ingredients:
8 oz crab meat, excess water squeezed out
14 oz cream cheese, softened
1 tsp sambal (or to taste)
2 tsp fresh dill, chopped
1 tsp parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Asiago Parmesan cheese, as desired for topping
Pita crackers, for serving
Directions:
Mix the Dip:
In a mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese with sambal, dill, parsley, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Gently fold in the crab meat until well combined.
Bake:
Transfer the mixture to an ovenproof dish and sprinkle generously with Asiago Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10-20 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
Broil for Extra Color (optional):
If the cheese isn’t golden, place the dish under the broiler for 1 minute until the top is golden brown.
Serve:
Serve warm with pita crackers.
