Ingredients:

  • 2 oz tequila

  • 1 lime (juiced)

  • 4 oz grapefruit juice

  • 1 oz rosemary simple syrup (see recipe below)

  • Ice

  • Salt (for rimming the glass)

Rosemary Simple Syrup:

  • ½ cup sugar

  • ½ cup water

  • 4-6 sprigs of rosemary

Directions:

  1. Make the Rosemary Simple Syrup: In a small pot, combine sugar, water, and rosemary. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer until the sugar is dissolved and the rosemary flavor is well infused, about 5-10 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool.

  2. Prepare the Glass: Rim your glass with salt and fill it with ice.

  3. Mix the Cocktail: In a cocktail shaker, add ice, tequila, lime juice, grapefruit juice, and rosemary simple syrup. Shake well to combine.

  4. Serve: Strain the mixture into your prepared glass.

  5. Garnish & Enjoy: Garnish with a lime wedge and a sprig of rosemary for a fresh, aromatic touch.
