Oh Henry Squares


These Oh Henry Squares are one of the easiest treats to make and quickly become a favourite when you're craving something sweet! With a buttery oat filled crust, a decadent chocolate peanut butter topping, and the crunch of salted peanuts mixed in adds the perfect finishing touch. These indulgent squares make the perfect snack for any occasion!


Ingredients:

  • 4 cups oats

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1 cup butter

  • ½ cup white corn syrup

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

  • ¾ cup peanut butter

  • 1 ⅓ cups salted peanuts

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats, brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup. Mix until well combined.

  3. Press the oat mixture evenly into a greased 9x9-inch pan.

  4. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the crust turns golden brown.

  5. While the crust is baking, melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter together in a pot over medium heat. Stir constantly until smooth and fully melted.

  6. Stir in the salted peanuts to the melted chocolate and peanut butter mixture.

  7. Pour the chocolate-peanut butter mixture over the baked oat crust, spreading it evenly.

  8. Optional: Top with extra salted peanuts for added crunch and flavor.

  9. Let the bars cool completely before cutting them into squares and serving.
