Twelve Drummers Drumming


Hot buttered rum is a rich holiday classic cocktail, with it’s buttery smoothness and warming spices its a go to cozy drink!



Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Pinch of allspice
  • 2 ½ oz dark rum
  • 5 oz hot water
  • Cinnamon stick (for garnish)

Directions:

  1. Prepare the Base:

    • In a glass, combine brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice.
    • Muddle everything together until the butter and sugar are dissolved and the spices are well mixed.
  2. Add Rum and Water:

    • Pour in the dark rum and hot water, stirring well to combine all the ingredients.
  3. Garnish and Serve:

    • Garnish with a cinnamon stick for a warm, aromatic finish.
