Pomegranate Rum Punch
Ingredients:
1 cup dark rum
710 ml pomegranate juice
1 lemon, juiced
1 orange, juiced
2 oz cinnamon syrup (see recipe below)
Pomegranate seeds (for garnish)
Orange slices (for garnish)
Cinnamon Syrup:
½ cup sugar
½ cup water
5-6 pieces of cinnamon
Directions:
Make the Cinnamon Syrup:
In a small pot, combine sugar, water, and cinnamon sticks.
Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the sugar has fully dissolved.
Remove from heat and allow the syrup to cool.
Prepare the Punch:
In a large pitcher, combine dark rum, pomegranate juice, lemon juice, orange juice, and cinnamon syrup. Stir well to mix.
Serve:
Fill tall glasses with ice, then pour the punch mixture over the ice.
Garnish with pomegranate seeds and orange slices.
Stir with a straw and enjoy!
